Congratulations. You’ve got a great writing idea. Alas, you also have a full-time job, kids, and a commuting schedule. Or perhaps you’re still in school and you have loads of homework. How can you possibly find the time to write amidst all this craziness? First, if you’re having trouble fitting writing into your life, you need to budget your time. I suggest you do a “time audit.” This means that, over the course of a day or a few days, or even a week, you track the amount of time you spend doing everything you do throughout the day (or days or week). Take particular note of how much time you spend watching TV, playing sports, sleeping, talking on the phone to your friends, playing solitaire or other computer games, noodling around on the Internet, reading magazines, newspapers, or the latest novel

Want to create print ads that get results? Below are three keys to get you started. 1. Write for the eye. Print ads are visual. Therefore, craft ads with the eye in mind. Eyes are kind of picky, though. So, here’s a checklist of what eyes like and don’t like: * A catchy headline that encourages them read more. * Art, such as photos, illustrations, clip art, shapes, etc. Eyes like art. When you create the ad, create words AND the visual at the same time. Words and visuals should work together. * Designed in an interesting, intriguing, attention-getting manner. Eyes like that. Remember, graphic designers are your friends. If you don’t have training in graphic design, I strongly urge you to hire a graphic designer to create your ad. The results will be well worth it. * White space (blank space in the ad). Eyes like white space. Eyes don’t like print ads stuffed with words and/or art. Those ads look way too difficult to read and comprehend. So eyes will skip over those ads and find other open, clean ads to look at. (And if they do, you might as well have never bought the ad in the first place.) 2. Write for the busy eye. Nobody is reading a newspaper because they want to see your ad. (Okay, your mother is the exception.) People are reading the paper because they want information. Reading your ad is an afterthought. So, they aren’t going to spend a whole heck of a lot of time on it. A common mistake is asking print ads to do too much. To be successful, print ads must: * Capture the attention of your potential customers, * Encourage those potential customers to remember what you want them to do, * Then persuade them to actually do it. That’s a lot to ask for one little print ad. Print ads should have one message and one message only. The more “extras” about your business you start throwing into the ad, the more convoluted the ad is going to become, and the less likely your potential customers will act upon your ad. Now at this point you may be thinking “Okay. We need one message. That message should be to get my potential customers to buy something, hire my services, donate money, become a volunteer, etc. Right?” Well… For one thing, that’s a pretty big leap for your potential customers. Getting potential customers to buy without first developing a relationship with them is, again, asking an awful lot for one little print ad. You might be better off inviting potential customers to take one small step in the buying process. For instance, stopping in the store for a free gift, logging on to your Web site to enter a contest, putting their names on your mailing list, trying a demo version of your product, etc. Let them get to know you. 3. Keep your target market in mind. Your message should be focused on your customers’ needs, not your own. Getting customers to buy your products and services is YOUR need. How your products or services solve your customers’ problems is THEIR needs. See the difference? That’s why so many retail stores have sales. They’re effective because they’re solving a need (saving customers money). But saving money is not the only need. There are many others. You should also think about ways to add value without bargaining on price (this position can backfire). Contests, free gifts, free reports, free food — stuff like that. Think outside the box. And use that value as a way to set yourself apart. Creativity Exercises — Learn by example One of the best ways to learn how to craft successful print ads is to study what’s out there. Get out a newspaper or a magazine and open it. See where your eyes go. What ads attract your eyes? What ads drive them away? Which ads have headlines that intrigue you? Graphics that capture your attention? Copy that encourages you to find out more? Why? Now look at ads that do nothing for you. Why don’t you like them? Are they too cluttered? Too difficult to understand? Have a headline that makes you yawn? Sometimes you can learn as much, if not more, from bad examples as you can from good ones. Description is what writers use to colour in the basic elements of a story. It gives the reader a mental picture which they can carry that with them as the tale unfolds. Adding an emotional element grabs the reader more forcefully and pulls them into the story. Most stories contain one or more of these: A person, place, artifact or object. Without being too flowery, try to make your descriptions vivid and if possible emotionally charged to a greater or lesser degree. Make an impression in the mind of your reader so that they can easily keep the person, place or object in memory as they follow the story along. What do I mean by ‘emotionally charged’? Simply bring in an emotional element that will strike a chord with the reader at a deeper level than just the intellect. For instance: “Glenda was tall and slim, with soft brown hair that flowed down her back like the waves of the sea over which she gazed. Her eyes, like the horizon, were distant and held a deep sorrow that belied her youth and fragile beauty.” So here we have tried to build into the physical description an idea of where this young girl is on her emotional journey at this point in time. Also we have hopefully grabbed the readers interest so they should now be wanting to know why she is so sad. For a novel, the description of Glenda could be filled out much more, and perhaps movement brought in to indicate again her state of mind, such as nervously twisting a corner of a scarf or handkerchief, but for a short story the above would probably suffice. Descriptions will normally enter the narrative when a new character or place is first introduced. So this is the golden opportunity for the writer to overlay an emotional layer to indicate what that person or place holds in store for the making of the story. At other times descriptive elements can mirror what is going on either physically or in the characters mind. For instance: “By the time the train pulled into the small station of Deersford Halt my nerves were on edge. The sky to the west was bright, but clouds were gathering overhead and a cold wind began tugging at my coat.” This tells the reader that unpleasant times are ahead but there is hope on the horizon. Even inanimate objects can be suffused with emotional overtones that set the scene for what follows. Here’s an example: “The room contained nothing but a broken chair. The black oak of it’s high back was roughly carved in the form of a twisted and misshapen thistle. The arms were thick, straight and uncompromisingly severe giving no promise of comfort to the sitter. But most disturbing was the seat which had been split in two as if by the crashing blow of a heavy object wielded with a terrible anger.” If this description came at the start of a story or chapter it prepares the ground for whatever dark secrets are to be revealed later. Of course, happier emotions can also be used. Joy, love, affection can all be built into your descriptions. It is simply that the darker emotions tend to grip the reader most. Try creating a few scenarios yourself based on the suggestions above and see what a difference it can make to the life of your story. William Rowe in his article devoted to the problem of evil objects the existence of god for he allows suffering of innocent people. This is a valid objection, but since there is an almighty, all knowing and all loving god, suffering must exist without people’s perception. God also does not choose the humans who must suffer and who must not. God does not discipline the evil and recompenses the good. The good do suffer, because of that the sinless suffer as well, but it does not happen without a reason. One can not concentrate only on the suffering and miss the good that it leads to may be an essential part of it. It is common for people to define suffering of those whom they view to be innocent as meaningless for they do not want to believe that such terrible suffering may have sense or good. Also, an almighty and loving god has motives for this kind of suffering and allows it so as to obtain greater goods. To human beings, the suffering and the good may be related in a way that can not be seen or perceived. From an atheist point of view, William Rowe might also dispute that a theist is not aware of the greater goods that might be obtained or evils that might be precluded, by every example of human or animal suffering. Humans have no way to know if there is actually good that appears from suffering. Often the good can not be seen, so what would make a human think that there is an underlying good that is greater than the most terrible suffering? If the is really so great, then a person should see and understand it so as to take suffering. Tiffany Sammers is the head of customer care center at Custom-essay.org, Custom Essay Services. It was the perfect spot. Our California ranch style house had a large picture window in the front room. The window extended from a few inches above the floor to only a few inches below the cathedral ceiling. The walls and ceiling were redwood stained knotty pine and the floor was a matching hardwood. The window looked out over a flower bed, shrubs and the expanse of front lawn. It was the perfect window to be replaced with a bay window. The window was nearly square. It was 72 X 72 inches. We considered a bow window, but elected to install a bay window instead. We just felt that our particular house looked better with three panel bay window rather than the multiple panel bow windows. Our intent was to fill the seat board of the bay with potted plants we had sitting in front of the current picture window. The new arrangement would give us a little more space in the room and improve the overall appearance of the house. It was time to go shopping. Scratch vs. Pre-built Bay Windows When we first got the idea of installing the new window, I began gathering plans for building bay windows . Thumbing through books and magazines, and the Internet search engines, I found several plans for building bay, casement and garden windows from scratch. I also found that undertaking such a project was going to be unnecessary. Most of the major window manufacturers, such as Pella, Milgard and Anderson make both completely pre-assembled bay windows as well as pre-built components for replacement windows. These days very few contractors will take on the project of building a bay or bow window from scratch. It simply isn’t practical when for the same or less money they can install a high quality pre-built window. If the contractors use pre-built windows or components for new house construction or renovation projects, then we could do the same for our remodeling project, we reasoned. Installing a bay window can easily be a do-it-yourselfer project. Before you go the diy route, however, you may want to line up a contractor to help out if necessary. This is not going to be a job that you can complete during a Saturday afternoon. Chances are you are not going to finish it in a weekend, for that matter. You are also going to want to line up some help. Bay windows and window components are heavy. At least they are too heavy for one person to manage. Be sure and check out the weather forecast, including the long range forecast. Installing the window means opening a hole into your home. It can take a couple of days to get the new window in place and sealed. The last thing you want is for rain to come pouring in on your floor, walls or furniture. Be sure and check your city or community construction codes. There may be special local requirements, such as having safety glass in low profile windows. You are probably going to need a building permit anyway, so that is also a good time to check the codes. Tools and Materials Needed The tools you will need for this project include a tape measure, a framing square that you can also use as a straight edge, a circular saw or miter saw, crow bars, drill and bits, level, stapler, utility knife, tin snips and a caulking gun. The materials you will need include the bay window unit, the support brackets, nails, roofing paper, shingles, roofing nails, exterior grade silicone caulking and fiberglass insulation. You will also need 1X6 inch boards for the window skirting. If you are enlarging an existing window, or if you are installing the window in a space that was previously the wall, you will also need 2X4s for cripple studs and additional framing. Basic Installation Steps 1. Establish window position in the wall. Remove the existing window. Measuring the bay window, mark on the exterior of the house the opening needed for the new window. Using your circular saw, cut the required opening. 2. Framing. Build the framing for the new window. This will likely include cutting through existing studs and putting in a new header, rough sill, jack studs and cripple studs. 3. Install the support braces. A window up to five feet wide will take a minimum of two support braces. A wider window will need three. 4. Set the window in place. Lift the bay window on the support braces and slide it into the rough opening. Shim as necessary to level the window. Anchor in place. 5. Build the window roof. Set the roof frame on top of the bay window unit and nail in place. Fill the space between the roof and the top of the bay window with insulation. Fasten the roof sheeting to the frame and cover with roofing paper. Install the drip edges and the flashing and then shingle. 6. Install the window skirting around the bottom of the window. Fill will insulation and then attach the skirt bottom to seal the underneath side of the window. 7. Seal the edges with silicone caulking. This is a list of the basic installation steps and they have been abbreviated in the interests of simplicity and space. The window unit you buy will have complete installation steps. Take it from the voice of experience; it really makes the project go much more smoothly and it will be completed in much less time when you read and follow them. In our case, I had two friends helping with the project. We have worked together on other projects and work together well. We had the old window out and the rough framing completed on Saturday afternoon. We buttoned up the hole with plywood overnight and went back to work the next day. By Sunday evening we had the new window installed and the roof and skirting completed. On Monday afternoon I finished sealing up the outside and completed the trim work for the inside. And, we were right. It was the perfect spot for a bay window. It looked great from the outside. Inside, it became the focal point of the room and added a special charm to the house. The window gave the house added character and value. When it came time to sell the house, it was one of the features that were particularly attractive to the buyers. John Baker wrote a lot of articles for the .replacement-windows-tips.com internetsite. The author is publishing from bay windows to casement windows and other areas in this field.

There’s no question about the many benefits of writing a book and becoming a published author. Writing a book gives you instant credibility with clients and prospects, solidifies your expert status and builds your personal or corporate brand. In fact, studies indicate that, while more than 80% of the population wants to write a book, only tiny 2% will ever actually do it! Why? Most aspiring writers cite lack of time, lack of focus or lack of knowing how to physically undertake such an ambitious project. Enter ghostwriters. No longer those shadowy figures lurking behind the scenes, ghostwriters today are experienced professionals who help aspiring authors write the book of their dreams. These writers and journalists work with their “authors” for months at a time to make sure their book gets written right. Most executives call upon ghostwriters to write for them simply because they don’t have the time or resources to do it on their own. The price and quality of ghostwriters span a wide range. Like anything else in life, you usually get what you pay for. You can take your chances and try to find a low-priced freelance writer on Elance.com, but you’re far better off trusting your project to a pro who comes recommended from a trusted source or referral. That said, you can expect to pay a good ghostwriter upwards of $50,000 for a full-length, non-fiction business book. The writing process can take 4

Academic Writing is a list of genres of academic writing. Writing in these forms or styles is usually serious, intended for a critical and well-versed audience, based on closely-investigated knowledge, and posits ideas or arguments. It usually circulates within the academic world, but the academic writer may also find an audience outside via journalism, speeches, pamphlets, etc. Typically scholarly writing has an objective stance, clearly states the significance of the topic, and is organized with adequate detail so that other scholars could try to reproduce the results. Strong papers are not overly general and correctly utilize formal academic rhetoric. Academic writing may involve following types of writing • Custom Essays; usually short, between 1,500 and 6,000 words in length. • Research Paper; longer essay involving library research, 3000 to 6000 words in length. • Dissertation Writing; usually between 6,000 and 20,000 words in length. • Thesis Writing; completed over a number of years, often in excess of 20,000 words in length. • Conference paper. • Research Article. • Abstract. • Custom term paper • Book Reports • Boo Review • Book chapter • Book, in many types and varieties. • Translation. • Explication The main purpose of these academic writing is to prepare students to be original. These jobs required students to present something new and original and take first step to contribute something new in pre existing knowledge. But this doesn’t mean you start copying other people’s ideas and research and make some changes in it and claim it as your study. You may get some coursework help from others but If you ever copy from some past documents, then you have to mention the original source. The point of documenting sources in academic papers is to demonstrate that you know what is going on in your field of study. It’s also a courtesy to your readers because it helps them consult the material you’ve found. That’s especially important for Internet sources. So mentioning what others have said doesn’t lessen the credit you get for your own thinking
