As progressing through the book American Notes: Journey created by Charles Dickens people who read it may perhaps have second thoughts if Dickens possibly stretching the truth. Moreover, Charles Dickens does not in fact give full accounts of the USA for the reason that his adventures took place mostly on the East Coast of the country but he visited no places further inland and did not witness all the multiplicity in America. I suppose that Dickens’s purpose in creating the book about the United States of America (American Notes) was to create an attractive, attention-grabbing, but truthful account of Americans lifestyle and America itself for the public in the United Kingdom. For the most part his other literary works were fictional, consequently I believe that this was no more than a personal preference of his to make a trip to the United States of America. I do believe that the strongest points of his American Notes is that it is so brightly depicted and detailed by Charles Dickens, that the author pulls the person who reads just exactly into every single situation as though they witnessed each and every occurrence of the book. Despite the fact that the images make the literary work very amusing, for my part it was difficult to recognize what he was implying for the reason that he made a lot of references to things or states of affairs of every day life that were typical for the 1840s, however, not in our time. Charles Dickens is a well-known and qualified author, but his odd style does not go well with the kind of book which would have stood a long test of time. On the condition that the American Notes was a truthful as well as indifferent account of the United States of America it would stand the test of time, however, it is full of useless information. There are two sides to every story so in order for you to give the most to your reader explore both sides to the experiences you are sharing. Let your reader choose the side they want to be on. We can only give the information and then take a hands off approach. Your reader will make the final decision. For the side that you prefer to be the one they choose, it is up to you to give the most in depth explanation so your reader can join with you. Being believable with your writing is the key to that. If you were ever in debate club in school or knew of others in your class who were, you might remember that you were not always in favor of the topic you were assigned to defend and had to spend some time researching to be sure you had enough facts to actually defend the topic. Well, life is very much like debate club. We are always faced with topics that we need to research to be able to make a decision if they are accurate and apply to our lives or not. If you make looking at both sides of a story fun, it is easier and quicker to get to the decision point regarding the information you are presented. If you can do that in your writing, your reader will stay engaged with your content and continue on to the next chapter. Creating curiosity is another way to keep a reader engaged, but, for now just apply the gathering information on both sides of the story and begin to apply that to your writing. Your story lines will blossom and for the characters in your non-fiction work you will be able to create very interesting plot twists.

What is the future of eLearning in India? Is the educated mass of India aware of what eLearning is? Does off-campus education has an edge over traditional method of learning or students still prefer classroom teaching? Which is more useful in this growing competitive world? These are significant questions to consider and central to education system in India but none of us has an exact answer to any of these questions. Learning is a continuous activity and in today’s competitive world skills get outdated within a few months. In order to climb up the ladder of success one has to keep on acquiring new skills on a regular basis. In India, the number of learners is growing rapidly but there is a dearth of competent teachers. At this point of time online learning, eLearning or CD-based learning, which is fast approaching in India, has emerged to supplement classroom teaching and provide learners just in time learning. Internet has brought people across the globe together. People can register for any university online and take up different disciplines without having to go to a different place. With the advent of different modes of education like online education and distance education, learning has become flexible, anytime and anywhere. It has become geography independent, learner centric and cost effective. Of late, corporate sectors are embracing eLearning at a rapid pace. It is not only cost effective to provide training to employees via online training materials but it also saves a lot of time and employees can learn on the job without having to devote any extra time to hone new skills. Online learning materials come with various games and interactive ways to engage the learners. Therefore, the new mantra is ‘learn while having fun’. Fun games, quiz and other interactivity in eLearning study materials not only help learners to enjoy learning but in a way, it is trying to create a niche for itself in the traditional system of education. Simulation through games is proving to be a more successful mode of training rather than theoretical education. To conclude, eLearning has a long way to go and it is quite possible to address various learning needs using online knowledge delivery systems. People who are involved in this industry should try to provide authentic training materials to sustain the faith of the educated mass in online education, only then eLearning and online education will thrive in India. Asking a book publishing editor or potential agent to look at product posted on a website is much easier than engaging in the formal process.Almost absolutely, any hopeful fiction writer at any given time was working on a novel they dreamed of getting published but the book publishing industry has never been easy to break into and these same literary agents see the environment getting a bit more challenging in the future for unpublished writers. It is often a difficult dream to realize since most talented writers do not know or understand which steps to take first to begin the process of becoming known and getting published. Approach getting published as requiring a set of skills that you can deliberately learn. It has been estimated that the five large book publishing companies, Random House Inc., Penguin USA, Simon & Schuster, Time Warner and HarperCollins, account for nearly eighty percent of all book sales in the US. Keeping this in mind one would believe that all you have to do is present your new book to these select few publishing houses and you will be accepted eventually. But most major book publishing houses, and many small presses, will not accept submissions that aren’t represented by a literary agent. New York is a global center for the television, advertising, newspaper and book publishing industries and is also the largest media market in the U.S but is not necessarily the best place to start. So how do you get the attention of the larger publishing establishments?Unfortunately, it is a regular part of the book publishing business model to expect 70 percent to 90 percent of titles not to get to breakeven. So you can see the resistance to accepting unknown authors. From your point of view submitting your work often and getting published even in small publications (print or online) immerses you more in the world of writing and defines further what you really can be, what you can achieve and what you will ultimately become. Staying resolute and continually knocking on the door of the giant publishers just gets you a reputation for persistence that is not necessarily productive. Seek out the smaller publishers and see what arrangements can be negotiated. Online Self Publishing

Our finals exam for History 2 was a take home exam. One of the many questions asked was, “Explain why Islam is considered the “most misunderstood religion”. What are some historical, sociological and cultural reasons that paved the way for a misunderstanding of the true nature of Islam among non-Muslims and even among Muslims? ” And this was my answer: Islam is considered to be the most misunderstood religion because most of the time it is being considered as a very violent religion and is likely “to encourage violence among its believers.” As seen in newspapers and in the television, Islam is often on the front page due to the reasons for violence and crime. In our very own country and also in other parts of the world, when one is a Muslim and he or she did a crime, their religion is being emphasized. Even in my very own home, my parents and also I (until I took History 2) judge the Muslims very unfairly. We all tend to generalize things without investigating or knowing more about the topic. For all we know, the Muslim criminals do not represent the entire Muslim community just like the Christian criminals do not represent the entire Christian community. As what I’ve read, Islam is sometimes intentionally misrepresented. The greatest example would be the media. We all know that media is the greatest factor on how people view their surroundings. Somehow, criticizing the Islam brings them more readers/viewers. I guess it is because of our nature to put down people or we take comfort in knowing that there are much worse people than us that is why we indulge on such things. The word Islam in itself means peace, so whoever depicts Muslims as trouble makers are just showing ignorance to the Muslim community. On the other hand, Muslim trouble makers should never consider themselves as Muslims because they are going against what their religion teaches. The Quran clearly states that anyone who commits murder when not in a state of self defense, is NOT a Muslim. It would be a shame to represent their whole community when in fact they don’t follow the teachings and beliefs of their religion. As what I’ve read, most of the “Muslim” criminals are probably just a bunch of people who hijack Islam into a violent way and distorted their ideology for personal and political gains. And this is what the world only caters on. We see the bad in them and refuse to see their efforts towards peacemaking which is very unjust. According to some of my sources, there is also a great misunderstanding not only by the non-Muslims but also Muslims themselves. It’s more on the modern Muslims because today, the Muslim community has all kinds of beliefs and then there is this inconsistency between these beliefs and as a result, they fight with each other just to prove whether their belief is more Islamic over the other. Making money online seems too good to be true. Making millions of dollars in just a few minutes a day is probably impossible, but making money online is a very attainable goal. No, you probably won’t make millions in a month, but it is possible to make a few bucks or, if you work really hard, a full time income. If you want to make money online, you need to know what to look for. There are programs that can make you some extra cash or ways to make some serious income. You can start your own business, but if you have no experience on the internet and don’t have any money, it might not be the best place to start. If you want to make money without starting your own business, there are many ways to do so. There are tons of websites that claim they will make you money. Some will and some won’t. You can write articles and be paid for each article or for each view, you can get paid to take surveys, or you can get paid to fill out offers. If you love to write, I would suggest joining a program that pays you to write. Some of the best article writing sites are Associate Content and Helium. Associated content pays you $3 to $20 per article if it is approved. You can still get it published even if it’s not approved and approved or not make $1.50 per 1,000 views. If you have several articles, you can get more and more page views and get paid more money. Helium is a little different. They only pay you for page views. It has a unique feature where you rate other articles. You can choose a topic and write about it, even if 100 people already wrote about it. You can write informative articles or even short stories. Other writers rate the articles and the closer you are to number 1, the more page views you will get and the more money you can make. They also have a marketplace where you can sell articles for $16 or more. If you aren’t much of a writer, there are lots of great get paid to programs, also known as GPT programs. You sign up for different offers by filling in your email and other information. They pay you 50 cents, $1, or more for each offer you do. Some offers are free trial offers that can pay you up to $20. You can do credit card offers, or you can do just free offers and still make a lot of money. My favorite GPT sites are Cashcrate and Swatcash. If you put in the time and really try, you can make as much money as a part time job but without the boss and strict hours. Click on the link in my author bio box to learn more about how you can make money from these sites. Making money online sometimes seems too good to be true, but it is possible. You just need to know where to look. Once you’ve found the right program, you can start making money online today. Give it a try! For the most part, article marketing is a long distance race, not a sprint. By writing articles and submitting them daily, you will increase the amount of traffic to your site and see improved profits (as traffic builds). The more you submit, the greater your benefit. But, even if you submit ten articles this week, don’t expect to retire any time soon. As I said, it is a long distance race. However, there are techniques that you can use to make some quick money writing articles. From time to time, certain niches will capture the public’s attention and there will be a flurry of interest in that sector. If you discover the trend, you can make some quick money with your articles. Following are several ways to profit writing articles: It all starts out by doing some research. Look for niches (or products) that everyone is talking about. Forums are a good place to find this type of information. Hang out in these forums and look for postings that have a large number of responses. Read through a number of these items. If it related to a single product or niche, you may have found an exploitable subject. You can also find hot products doing research on Ebay. Search for popular products that have sold well during the past 2 weeks. If you find several products that are selling really well and are related to a common theme, you may have found a hot area to exploit with your articles. Lastly, check your bulk emails. This is one my favorite (and easiest) ways to find hot topics. When you see an explosion of emails on one subject, it is a pretty good bet that the niche is hot. Once you find a hot topic, do research to find an affiliate program that is offering a product in the same area. Research the topic so that you can write knowledgably about the subject. Develop effective article titles using keyword research. Make sure to include two or more keywords in each title, because you will want the search engines to pick up your article. Write five to ten articles on the subject. Submit one to two articles per day to the largest article directory sites. Make sure your article contains a link to the affiliate program you found previously. Or, you can direct readers to your site and re-direct them to the affiliate program from there. If the niche remains hot for some time, you can make a fair amount of money from this technique. Start Making Money Today! It’s easier than you think. Visit .writeebooksandmakemoney.com NOW! The Door by Magda Szabo is a detailed, intimate account of a relationship between two women. Paradoxically, it was the distance between them that generated the intimacy. Presented with behaviour and attitudes she could not identify with or recognise, a young writer tries to analyse her maid’s motives, to rationalise her strangeness, to explain her unconventional behaviour. It is clear from the start that the new maid, Emerence, has had a fundamentally different kind of life from her employer. And, as the relationship develops, details of that life are slowly unearthed to be shared. Memories and reflections unfold like a gently opening flower, each miniscule change adding to what has gone before. Eventually these individually small incremental revelations complete a picture of a life that even the imagination of a writer could not have created. The Door is rarely a vivid book. Its tone and style are always measured. Details are picked apart and analysed, their consequences examined under a microscope that seeks out motive, honesty and guilt. Paradoxically

Public domain articles are not owned by anybody and can be used and abused by anyone. The writers have waived their rights to their works and it is out there for the public to make use of. You can use public domain articles in helping you write your articles. With the public domain articles you can simply edit them to your own style and rewrite them as you please to make it suitable for your needs. This is probably the easiest way to write articles. For webmasters who are looking for articles to fill their site and to generate a high ranking for their website in search engine results, they can just modify the article by infusing keywords and keyword phrases related to their site. Writing articles by using public domain wont require as much work as writing one from scratch would. One good factor in using public domain articles for your site or for any project is that you save a lot of money. You dismiss the need to hire experienced and seasoned writers that some website operators use to write their articles. While a single five hundred worded article would only set you down 10 to 15 dollars, this cost will drastically increase when you need hundreds of articles to fill the needs of your site. For those who needs articles to generate newsletters or an e-zine, public domain articles will be very beneficial. You do not need to count on your contributors or pay writers to write down articles for your newsletter or e-zine. You can simply copy the articles and place them on your newsletter and e-zine. Public domain articles are a virtual untapped resource that many people fail to realize the true value. The power of articles, keywords and keyword phrases have been deemed invaluable these past few years for many internet based businesses and sites that want to rank high in search engine results. The number of article and content writers have grown significantly due to the rise in the demand for articles. As newer and newer topics and subjects have arisen, there are many demands for new articles to be written. Public domain articles have given a great alternative for those who are cash strapped as well as do not have the time nor the skills to do their articles for themselves. Searching for public domain articles is as easy as 1
